Rissman Strings offers personalized violin instruction in Boulder, rooted in the Suzuki method, emphasizing training the ear, playing with beautiful tone, and educating the whole person. In addition to instruction in the Suzuki method, Lucy also teaches traditional fiddle music and folk violin styles to her students. Rissman Strings welcomes enthusiastic young violinists beginning at the age of 6 and up. No experience is required to join the studio.

After getting to know your child’s interests and motivations, a lesson length will be suggested and a trial lesson can be scheduled. The studio offers 30, 45, and 60min lessons.
